Svea Chests

The Svea Cedar Chest line is named for my hometown of Svea, Minnesota. I am the third generation in my family to build a very high quality cedar chest. Inspired by old world construction techniques and timeless designs, the Svea Cedar Chest is built in four basic sizes. The smallest is the Cherish, next is the Keepsake, then the slightly larger Hope chest and finally the signature model of my line, and largest chest The Dream model. Standard features include dovetailed corners and a hand rubbed oil finish that reveals the natural beauty of aromatic red cedar. The child safe keyed lock prevents a child from locking themselves inside the chest. One removable tray, plus specialty hinges and hardware to keep the lid open. Options include but not limited to extra trays, torsion hinges that hold the lid open to prevent slamming, and chests made from multiple species of wood such as cedar and cherry, cedar and walnut, ash or any other wood species. You can order your chest in a custom size and with your unique hardware designs and even get it shipped to you unfinished for your special personalized look.
